A foreigner entering Poland for a stay of over 3 days should have the means of subsistence to cover the costs of accommodation, food, transit and return to the country of origin in the amount of at least 100 PLN for each day of the stay or its equivalent in foreign currencies.
An alien entering Poland in order to undertake or continue studies, to participate in scientific research or training should have the amount of 1 600 PLN or its equivalent in foreign currency to cover the costs of accommodation and meals for the first two months of the planned stay in the territory.
- Documents confirming possession of financial means can be for example:
- Credit card;
- Debit card;
- Statement confirming possession of funds on the alien’s bank account;
- Original of the invitation;
- In case of students - a certificate of scholarship award.
