Simple associations

Simple association is a simplified form of an association. A difference between them is that a simple association does not have a status of a legal person and that only 3 people are sufficient to found it (not 15 people as it is required in a case of a registered association). These people adopt regulations of activities.
The regulations should include the following information:
-                   the name of an association,
-                   the goals of an association,
-                   the territory and means of activities,
-                   the seat,
-                   the representative.

Founders should notify the governor of a poviat on the territory of which an association has its seat about founding an association. If within 30 days after this announcement there is no decision issued stating that its activities are forbidden an association can initiate its activity.

A simple association cannot:
-                   create local branches,
-                   enter unions of associations,
-                   include legal persons,
-                   perform economic activities,
-                   accept donations/inheritances/legacies or receive public grants or use public support.

Activities of a simple association are financed from membership contributions.
